Meet the Team!

The Salinas Family

Hello! 👋 We’re David and Trish, high school sweethearts who have been doing life together since 2007. After nearly 2 decades together, we’ve learned a lot about marriage, faith and family. Now we get to grow together as urban farmers and we’re loving every minute of it!

For years, we dreamed of creating a place where faith, fitness, farming, and family could come together. That dream became Purpose Farm.

After moving to Claremont, we broke ground and began building our family’s first non-profit endeavor alongside our three-year-old son, Solomon. What started as a shared vision has become a mission to grow nutrient-dense, chemical-free food while caring for the land through regenerative farming practices.

We believe healthy soil grows healthy food, and healthy food helps people flourish. More than a farm, Purpose Farm is a place where health, community, and purpose can be cultivated together.

Welcome to Purpose Farm. We’re grateful for the opportunity to feed you, serve you, and grow alongside you!

Nourished For Purpose - 501(c)(3)

In a world where many people are becoming disconnected from their food, their health, their communities, and their purpose, Nourished For Purpose exists to help people rediscover what it means to truly flourish. We believe that caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—is essential to creating healthier individuals and stronger communities. Through personal and spiritual growth, education, athletics, and community engagement, we create opportunities for people to grow, connect, and live with purpose.

Purpose Farm is the nonprofit’s regenerative urban farm and wellness campus where this vision comes to life. It is where athletics meets agriculture—a place where people can reconnect with the land, experience the joy of seeing food growing in an urban setting, strengthen their bodies through movement, learn through hands-on experiences, and build meaningful relationships. Through regenerative farming, wellness initiatives, and time spent on the land, Purpose Farm invites people into a healthier way of living that nourishes the body, renews the mind, and cultivates purpose.

Together, Nourished For Purpose and Purpose Farm are creating a place where you can reconnect—with yourself, each other, the land, and the purpose that God created you for. Join us and stay a while!
